Christine Healy is an international energy executive with over 25 years of experience leading sustainable energy projects across six continents. She has held senior leadership roles at AtkinsRealis, TotalEnergies, and Maersk Oil and Gas, driving global expansion, carbon neutrality initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Christine also served as President & CEO of Total E&P Canada and held advisory roles with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. She is currently a board member of Canadian Natural Resources Limited. Christine holds degrees in law and economics.

Jeff Hart is a seasoned financial executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in Canada’s energy sector. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Husky Energy and Cenovus Energy, with expertise in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, treasury, and financial strategy. Earlier in his career, Jeff held roles at Statoil, Imperial Oil, and Deloitte. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Saint Mary’s University.

Rachel is an experienced talent executive with over 15 years of global leadership experience in human resources across multiple sectors and geographies. She joined Northland in 2021 as the Chief People Officer and leads the company’s HR strategy, including talent development, compensation, and organizational culture. Previously, Rachel held Vice President roles at Signify and Schneider Electric, working across Canada, the U.S., Latin America, France, and the UK. She holds an Honours BA from McMaster University and a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management from Sheridan College.

Toby Edmonds is Executive Vice President of Offshore Renewables with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. He oversees global operations and growth initiatives at Northland and previously served as COO at Maple Power, delivering major projects across Germany, France, and the UK. Toby also held senior roles at RWE, including Project Director for Gwynt y Môr and Galloper wind farms. He holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering & Management from the University of Reading and a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Warwick.

Calvin is Executive Vice President, Natural Gas & Utilities & Onshore Renewables (interim) with over 25 years of experience in energy operations and leadership. He began his career as a power engineer and played a key role in launching Northland’s Thorold Cogeneration station. Since joining Northland, Calvin has led solar operations in Ontario, supported international expansion, and most recently established the company’s asset management hub in Spain. He oversees Northland’s natural gas facilities and regulated utility in Colombia.

He began his career at Schneider Electric, progressing from project manager to executive leadership, where he led international teams and developed the solar business. Before joining Northland, he worked as a consultant in project delivery and crisis management. Pierre-Em holds a Master’s in Project Management from Grenoble INP.

Jaime Hurtado is General Counsel with over 20 years of legal experience in infrastructure and renewable energy projects across North America, Europe, and Asia. He leads Northland’s legal strategy, supporting project execution, M&A, dispute resolution, and corporate functions. Jaime previously held senior legal roles at Dragados and Gamesa, advising on major infrastructure and renewable projects. Admitted to the bar in Ontario, Washington, Madrid, and Athens, Jaime is fluent in English, Spanish, Greek, and Italian.

Ian Pearce is a corporate director with over 40 years of global experience in the metallurgy and mining industries. He has held senior roles in engineering, project management, and executive leadership, including COO of Falconbridge Limited and CEO of Xstrata Nickel. He currently serves as a Director of NextSource Materials Inc. and previously chaired the Board of New Gold Inc. Ian joined Northland Power’s Board in March 2020 and was appointed Chair in May 2025.

In 2021, he was named one of the Most Influential Black Corporate Directors by Savoy Magazine.

Prior to Voltalia, he founded and led Mirova, pioneering sustainable investment funds. Sébastien began his career in project finance at Crédit Lyonnais in Canada and the USA. He holds a degree in Economics, a Master’s in History (both from Université de Paris X) and a Master’s in Finance from Sciences Po Paris.
