Overview
Abitibi Solar is a 10 MW ground-mounted photovoltaic project located in Cochrane, Ontario. Commissioned in 2015 and operated by Northland Power, it spans 40 hectares with up to 55,000 solar panels and connects to the grid via a 20 km transmission line, contributing to Ontario’s renewable energy supply.
