Overview
The Empire Solar Project is a 10 MW ground-mounted solar facility located in Cochrane, Ontario, spanning 40 hectares of cleared land ideal for solar generation. Distinct for its semi-urban setting, the project was designed with careful attention to visual aesthetics, noise mitigation, and community engagement. Featuring thousands of fixed-tilt solar panels, 14 inverters, and a transformer substation, the facility is now operational and contributing to Ontario’s renewable energy supply.
